SALE OF TICKETS
This event ticket is sold by GuyanaOGEC as “seller” to you as “purchaser” and is subject to the following conditions:
1. No refund shall be given on any ticket except if that the event is cancelled, purchaser shall receive a full refund less any applicable service charges. Service charges are not refundable. If the event is postponed, credit shall be given for the initial purchase and for equivalent value at the rescheduled event.
2. Tickets are fully transferrable provided the transferee satisfies the same requirements of purchase as transferor.
3. If a ticket is reported as lost, stolen, or otherwise unavailable, seller may charge a fee to purchaser for replacement of said ticket.
4. GuyanaOGEC may deny event admission to anyone who purchased or obtained a ticket under false pretenses.
APPLICABLE LAW
By visiting GuyanaOGEC’s website, you agree that the laws of the state of Texas, U.S.A., without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and GuyanaOGEC or its associates.
DISPUTES
Any dispute arising from your visit to GuyanaOGEC or products you purchase through GuyanaOGEC shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Harris County, Texas, U.S.A. at GuyanaOGEC’s sole discretion. However, if you violated or threatened to violate GuyanaOGECs intellectual property rights, GuyanaOGEC may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Texas, U.S.A., and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration or otherwise.

DISCLAIMER
Guyana Oil & Gas and Energy Conference (“GuyanaOGEC” or “GOGEC”) is not affiliated with Guyana Oil and Gas Energy Chamber (GOGEC) of Georgetown, Guyana. While both entities, by mere coincidence, share the same acronym (GOGEC), GuyanaOGEC unequivocally disclaims any past or present affiliation with Guyana Oil and Gas Energy Chamber. The two organizations are separate and distinct entities, have never been affiliated, and should not be confused with each other. Moreover, GuyanaOGEC does not seek to align itself with Guyana Oil and Gas Energy Chamber, or to infringe on the reputation of the latter.
